FACTS ABOUT LIFE!!!

According to the research:

1. We spend 1/4 of our life STUDYING!! This is actually the most important part of our life, where we learn how to do fundamental academic things.

3 Years of Pre-School
+
6 Years of Primary Education
+
6 Years of Secondary Education (High School)
+
4 Years of Tertiary Education

= 19 Years (If you go through this smoothly) By now You should be 22 Years OLD


2. We Spend 1/2 of our life WORKING!! This is where we start to apply what we have learned for 19 years. Some of us may wish that with the income we get from the job we could actually pay some back to our parents. We'll go through the details about that later. Right here assuming the life expectancy of a human being using the formula below.We come to a figure of 77.85 for residents of USA and 72.50 for residents of Malaysia. So taking the average of 75. We should be able to RETIRE or stop working at the age of 60 (rounded to the nearest 1)

3. Obviously, once you are at the age of 60 after working for nearly 38 years (more for some blessed individuals). We wish to retire and have a great life, hopefully have enough savings to last us to the day we accept nature's call. Here again the facts show different figures. Let's go through what will happen to most of us at this part of our lives.

More than a quarter of us (36% to be exact) will actually be lucky enough to Rest In Peace!!

The other 54% (more than half) will have to depend on other people to keep on living, most will be considered nuisance to other people and it is often heard that these people will be sent to the nearest Old Folks' Home. Imagine, when you are sent here, you could actually have reunion with half of your classmates. How lovely.

Well, let's not be such pessimists. We have been lucky and are not even part of the 90% who have either heaven or Old Folks' Home to look forward to. The top 10% are separated as such;

Starting from the bottom at number 3.
5% of us .... still has to work to support our lives.

4% of us .... actually did retire.

Only 1% and that means 1 out of 100 of us actually RETIRE RICH!!!
Now for those who have spent 15 minutes reading this article, here is a question. Where do you want to be. Right now at the moment I personally have finished 1/4 of my life studying. I am a little concerned about the possibilities of me reaching the top 1% if i continue 30+ years of my life working. For those who believe they are lucky enough to be able to turn out as the top 1% go ahead. I guess I would not follow the footsteps of the commoners. Tomorrow will be the first day of the battle of reaching the top for me. I believe if i do not back down, I shall reach the top. For the rest of YOU making the same decisions as I am, SEE YOU AT THE TOP!!!..... GO FREEDOM!!
