Welcoming BannerStore in Surabaya
Surabaya is also known as City of the Heroes. In this city many histories has been made, therefore Tiens would like to make another history in this second biggest city in Indonesia, after Jakarta. On January, 19th, 2008, a history has been made by the grand launching of BannerStore which is the fourth branch in Surabaya.

The grand launching was outstanding and attended by Vice President of Tiens Group International, President Tiens Asia Pacific and Africa Region, Mr. Bai Feng. After giving speech, Mr. Bai Feng continued to hit drums as the official sign of the opening.

All guests were excited, they even willing to stay under the hot condition in that afternoon. After the opening, all guests rushed to come inside and shopping.
This enthusiasm continued during the night, just like a bright light from lamplights shining on BannerStore Surabaya.

Welcoming the new year, BannerStore moved to a higher step of development signed by the opening of its third branch on December 30th, 2007 in Medan,Indonesia. The ceremony was a big bang as it was attended by a great number of visitors.
At 11am sharp, President of Tiens Indonesia who is also the President of Tiens Asia Pacific and Africa region, Mr. Bai Feng came and received an outstanding response from the audience. In his speech, Mr. Bai elaborated the plan for BannerStore's future in details. Then, he himself cut the ribbon and released red and yellow balloons into the sky to symbolize official opening of the BannerStore.

During the press conference, Mr. Bai dexterity answered all questions from reporters. He also explained in details prospect of Tiens development in Medan and in Indonesia. The new BannerStore opening was a turning point of the development of Tiens Medan and it should be followed by the opening of other bannerstores in order to provide the best service to public.

It was unpredictable that as the door was open, all visitors rushed into the shopping area to make the supermarket crowded within a few minutes. It was such a reflection of the prosperity of Tiens Branch of Medan.

The opening ceremony started at 13:30, in the exciting melody of flying together. Crowds of people gathered outside the store when Kurkova·Н·Б, government leader of alliehawa district, delivered a congratulatory speech, after which, Liu Tian’ao, General Manger of the Russian Sub-region, delivered a speech, expressing good wishes to the BannerStore and warmly greeting the dealers and consumers present at the ceremony. And then meiteriduofu·С·С, the head of the Store, gave a letter of thanks, and went further to say that the Store would repay dealers and consumers with the best services and commodities.

In the cocktail party after the ceremony, both General Manager Liu and General Manager Zhang held friendly conversation with governmental officials and suppliers as well, in which, they mutually sketched a bright future of the Store in expectation. It was heavily snowy at Kiev, Ukraine – the headquarters of TIENS in the European-Asian Region -- on December 12, 2007, but every TIENS person was waiting excitedly and happily. This was because that a BannerStore store was to be opened at the Covenant Plaza here! The opening was greatly supported by Xie Dongping, President of the European-Asian Region, and departments of the Group and the European-Asian Region. It was also the result of cooperation among the preparation personnel from BannerStore (Ukraine), Branch of BannerStore in Kiev and the Covenant Plaza store.
The opening activity began formally at AM10:58 (local time). People overflowed into the plaza of the commercial center where the BannerStore (UKraine) was situated, including the staff in the European-Asian Region and dealers in Kiev. Specially, leaders of BannerStore network in Kiev brought the floral baskets to show their sincere congratulation. The popular Fly together sung by the girl dealers from Lvov indicated the beginning of the celebration. MR. Successful Opening Ceremony of the BannerStore, Kazakhstan, Central Asia Sub-region
After months of intense preparations made by all the personnel, the BannerStore, Kazakhstan, Central Asia Sub-region, Euro-Asian Region, finally opened on December 6. Over a thousand products were placed on the shelves within the Store, manifesting the operating concept of BannerStore of Health and Beauty, which was a solid ground for its future development.
The cold winter of Kazakhstan scarcely impeded TIENS dealers, who, in multitude, gathered in an orderly manner in waiting in front of the store gate more than one hour ahead of the opening moment. Senior official from the Kazakh Government,General Manager and other leaders of the Central Asia Sub-region of the Tiens Group attended this grand celebration.
The ceremony launched at local time 10 o’clock. Wu Yanlei, General Manager of the Central Asia Sub-region, gave the initial speech. “The opening of Kazakhstan BannerStore predicts a new development space and performance growth for the Central Asian market of TIENS, and it is the mission of all TIENS personnel to offer high-quality and healthy products for our consumers. On May 22, Burmese direct selling supermarket successfully started business to the people’s expectance
May 22, 2007 is an especially memorable day for the people of TIENS in Burma, because the direct selling supermarket in Yangon which has long been expected got into operation in a shower of applause.
Following the local custom, 11 hierarchs chanted scriptures of Godspeed for this newly-opened Tiens BannerStore that day. At 4.00 am, the manager of the Burmese subsidiaries and managerial staff from departments had come to the company to prey for the Tiens BannerStore.
By 8 o’clock, many people gathered at the gate of the supermarket, waiting for the exciting ribbon cutting ceremony. Those present at the ceremony include senior officials of the Burma government, president of TIENS Asia-Pacific Region, vice president and the director of the BannerStore Retailing International Investment Group Co., Ltd., general manager of the Vietnam Region and director of the Asia-Pacific Region. When the ribbon cutting ceremony commenced, 11 bunches of colossal colorful balloons rose into the sky with the best wishes from the people of TIENS to the people of Burma. The lieutenant general Myint Swe pushed the button in person, and the purdah receded slowly to reveal the big bright red sign of the BannerStore, which instantly aroused exultant happiness at the scene.
After the ribbon cutting ceremony, the manager of the supermarket opened the entrance door in person and everyone entered the supermarket following the leader of the Burma government. Although the total area of the two-storey supermarket was only 750 square meters, it never lacked magnificence and splendor. Dazzling arrays of goods attracted everyone, who clustered round to select their favorites. Not long after the opening, queues formed before the cashier. Shop assistants were always on the run, and bright smiles can be seen on everyone’s cheeks. The manager said such a lively scene is very rare in Burma. About 70% of the goods sold in BannerStore came from abroad, and the prices are more reasonable compared with other supermarkets, thus bringing adequate surprise to the local people. The ground floor of the BannerStore of Burma sold food and the second floor sold non-food goods. There were also experiencing zone and direct selling zone in the second floor. In the early morning of the opening day, there were many enthusiastic partners to present at the ceremony, all of whom actively visited the flagship. Despite the sizzling sunshine, people were waiting for the opening in such a long tine that it extends to the outdoor plaza. At 11 am, the master of ceremony initiated the ceremony. Then, Mr. Zhong, the general manager of Pacific Rim region, and Bai Feng, President of the Asia-Pacific region, who came to the ceremony over a long way, jointly announced the opening of the BannerStore Lohas Mall (Taizhong). Instantly all partners present cheered and the God of Wealth led the lion dance team to enter the ceremony against the thundering drums. General Manger Zhong and President Bai jointly took the pineapple out from the mouth of the lion. The pronunciation of pineapple in Taiwanese language is similar to the term of “Wang Lai” (which means “prosperity”). BannerStore Bali (for those who are not going to see)
Tiens BannerStore held a grand opening ceremony and officially started its business on August 25, 2007 when an influx of customers was beating the road to the store amid soft sea breeze and against the blue sky.
At 9:30 am, the opening ceremony kicked off as vice president of Tiens Group and president of its Asia-Pacific Region, chairman of Indonesian Direct Selling Association, president of Asia-Pacific supermarket and manager of Denpasar Branch Company showed up. A chorus of string and windpipe instruments and drum music added to the atmosphere of festival, under the support of distinctive traditional music and dance of Bali. After a speech from president of Asia-Pacific Region, all the VIPs stood in a line to cut the ribbon together when thousands of balloons representing BannerStore were released to the sky. Hardly had the door opened when thousands of customers rushed into the store with high expectations and excitement.
In front of the store is a bustling avenue which is usually thronged with vehicles. On the first day of its operation, Tiens BannerStore in Bali attracted such a large number of audience and customers that the traffic was blocked off from time to time although the store had applied for a traffic control beforehand.
This grand ceremony became an eyeball-catching event of the local community. More than 10 media groups including Bali TV and Bali Post came to capture the heartening news. At 10:30 am, a news conference was also held to introduce to 100-plus journalists the business philosophy of this newly established store. In the evening, the local television station broadcast this opening ceremony.

Tianshi Group plans to open its BannerStores worldwide
BEIJING, Feb. 9 (MingFinance) – Tianshi Group, the parent company of Tiens Biotech Group USA (AMEX:TBV), aims to penetrate into the global retailing industry through its wholly-controlled BannerStore.
BannerStore opened its first store in Tianjin recently and plans to open 40-50 chain stores in Northern China and Russia this year, and 3,000-4,000 leased-and-operated stores or franchised-and-managed stores worldwide in the coming three years.
Beijing-headquartered Tianshi Group has 105 branches and representative offices worldwide, with sales business covering 179 countries or regions. The group hopes to combine the advantage of direct selling and retailing together, in a bid to establish BannerStore as a world-leading retailing enterprise.
The chain store will sell specialty products worldwide and comprehensive commodities, according to BannerStore president.
Tianshi Group is a direct selling company mainly in advanced biotechnology, but its license for direct selling is still under examination and approval procedures.
